Booked in a last minute tour with Ted Aix tours, and couldn’t have been happier! We did the market tour, and were lucky enough to get some amazing food samples and learned a bit more about the region. Enjoyed it so much we booked onto his history tour later that day. Which took us to areas we hadn’t explored yet, secret passageways, and gave us a great insight into Cezanne and Zola. Ted was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. I had a private tour with Édouard . He is a wonderful person and has deep knowledge of the history of Aix and clearly loves living there.  In addition to the historical tour, we tasted food in the market and in several stores.  He knew I was a fellow foodie so he also shared with me his favorite restaurants which I have been going to during my stay. A fabulous tour with Edouard on the walking tour of Aix en Provence. A true local tour showing of the amazing history, culture and landmarks of the city. The friendliest guide and most knowledgeable tour. Even got to try some local delicacies. Would have no trouble recommending this tour to friends.
